The Not-So Final Frontier

Let's find out just how deep the rabbit hole goes...

dkthingsetc asked: Do multiples of ten!

You got it!

10. What shoe size are you?
I am essentially your modern day hipster hobbit and wear a 6.5 in Mens.

20. Are you religious?
Nope! My parents were always extremely supportive of my brother and I in that regard though. They always told us that if we wanted to practice any particular religion that they would help us make that happen. After years of research though growing up, none of them ever made complete sense to me for all sorts of reasons. Closest I ever got was Buddhism in high school.

30. How many pillows do you sleep with?
There are two on my bed, but I only personally use one. I’m a fan of a relatively flat, but soft pillow. Pillows that are too big/fluffy end up leaving my neck sore in the morning.

40. Have you ever had a secret admirer?
Maybe like once or twice at best, and only ever online. I’ve never had a person leave me secret notes or anything like that. Personally I’ve always thought that would be the most flattering thing and secretly have wanted one, but I’m pretty sure those don’t exist anymore when you get into your late 20’s.

50. Left or right handed?
Mostly right, but rather ambidextrous in most things.

60. Do you talk to yourself?
More than I’d like to admit. I don’t trust people that don’t at least do this a little bit.

70. Have you ever been scuba diving?
Nope! Always been warned given the fact that I only have a lung and a half, a heart condition, among some other health shenanigans, that scuba diving is not something I should ever be doing.

80. How many piercings do you have?
Never had one. I used to hate gauges, but they’ve grown on me over the years and thought about it from time to time. Inevitably I just don’t think piercings are my thing. Tattoos are about as much body mod as I care to get.

90. What makes you angry?
Ignorance, cruelty, judgmental people, wedgies, mustard on hot dogs.

100. Color of your room?
The boring beige/white that it came with because I have almost never cared about room decoration/aesthetics. My rooms have generally always been pretty Spartan overall. Except my childhood room  that my mother decided to paint a giant green sphere on as an accent to the other green wall. One time when I had a girl over and we were having a bit of fun, I could tell she was distracted and it was a mood killer. When I asked what was wrong, she said “I just can’t stop staring at that sphere…”

A small doodle I just started. Trying to finally figure out what sort of design I want for my next tattoo. The next one is going to be based on Stephen King’s Gunslinger series, or also know as the Dark Tower series.

I wish I knew some tattoo artists that are as big of fans of those books as I am. Would love to peruse their work and see if we can agree upon something.

Let me play devil’s advocate.

Is actually a perfectly appropriate phrase for that situation, because it guarantees you a spot in hell.

Because it’s the worst.

Don’t advocate for the devil. He’s the devil for a reason.

"Held at Secret Project Robot in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, the fest attracts queens and queers who eschew garden-variety cabaret acts for weirder material. Performers range from downtown mainstay Penny Arcade to recent Paper magazine cover girl Merrie Cherry, and the dress code includes everything from glittery beards to wigs fashioned from household goods to nothing at all. In addition to local news outlets and even a documentary crew working on a feature-length film about the festival, this photographer was on hand during the peak moments of Bushwig 2014."
This ain’t no cruise ship drag cabaret. Gender-queer performance art is alive and well and living in Brooklyn.
